Some call it Paradise. Certainly
it's not without problems, but it is a beautiful setting. Our house is in
Kailua-Kona on the "Big Island" (Hawaii). That's the west side of the
island, and not the side with the currently active volcano (Kilauea), but
the volcano on our side is merely dormant - it will doubtless come to life
again some day (which will cause much greater problems than Kilauea has).
The snorkeling is great; we have one of the best snorkeling sites in the
entire island chain.
